There is nothing more upsetting than internalising and explaining bad occurrences in respect to one psyche.
The subject matter arises from one of either standpoints. Namely whether we are the reason for whatever worldly proceedings we may encounter, hence defining ourselves as the source of ill-luck. The other camp of though values life as acquiring a certain independent force by which things happen and through which humans experience their own life .
The way we appreciate what occurs is solely personal in some say. In our own manner, we tackle various obstacles that may appear, value the moments one feels content, and in general appreciate that which is present before one’s eyes according to ones predispositions.
The mode however in which the above process is undertaken is as stated through ones opinion on worldly order and reason. That is not whole arbitrary but is fixed up to some extend though ones habitus, namely their upbringing and education.
Where should one hence look for explanations? Is it a quest towards looking backwards and deciphering the difficult language of one’s past? Or shall one endeavour to reason life through the principle that "I am the only one that exists and that everyone else is a reflection of me", by which though causation is internalized and analysed through one's actions and dynamics of life?
Is there to be an I, or a WE, behind it all?
